Tasting Notes

With its warm gold color, Bowmore No.1 is a singularly special single malt whisky. Each breath brings aromas of vanilla fudge, sea air and peat smoke, backed up by notes of honeycomb and spicy cinnamon. The warming effect of the scent is matched in each sip, with notes of tangy citrus, creamy vanilla and tropical coconut meeting a gentle saltiness reminiscent of Islay's rugged beaches. This leads into a long finish with flavors of peat smoke, bourbon vanilla and lime.
